Ice Age Movie was first Released March 15, 2002. Fox first applied for a SCRAT trademark in 2009, 7 years later. Fox won because Model Maker John Dodelson signed a decoration he named Fox's Sqrat Oct. 25, 1999. In 17 years, not one article published about John naming Sqrat which later became Scrat. Michael J. Wilson Ice Age Screenwriter, credits his 3 year old Flora for naming Scrat. 17 years after the release of Ice Age Movie Starring SCRAT, Fox still does not have a Federal Registered Trademark for the name SCRAT. www.scrat.com
